Buffet, Steamboat & Surprise!

Ning asked us (flatmates) and two of her close friends out for advanced birthday dinner on Thursday evening. She brought us to a chinese restaurant in Pontypridd which is a 20 minutes train ride away.

The food was so much better than China China. Ning said we could get some buffet before the steamboat arrived. Frankly speaking, I don't expect much from the chinese restaurants here but this place served quality food! The prawns were so BIG! I grabbed a few of them, and the BBQ prok ribs was so good too!!

Hee... steamboat arrived shortly... there was more choices here and the raw prawns were very sweet :)

The end of our ridiculous food order

We had too much food. Someone has ordered everything from the menu each. We were ridiculous but not as ridiculous as one of my friend who ordered 90 plates of beef for a table of 17, even the boss was shocked! Later in the night, we had a surprise for Ning. At midnight, we knocked at her door with a birthday cake...

Alamak Mr Jeff! Your birthday song very out of tune... Sighs!

And of course, we ended up eating again. Luckily, the cake was small...
