It is going to be X'mas soon, not halloween or the 7th month!

Mood:OK Health:Good Weather:Cold

Few minutes ago, Ning shared her troubles with me. She was puzzled...

Twice, she saw the light in her room were lit as she was walking into our building. However, the light was off as she entered into her room. What was going on? She was very sure that when it happened the second time, it was not her eyes that were playing tricks on her.

She tried to console herself by giving lots of reason on why this happened. Light faulty? The management staff did a room check? There were so many reasons that I felt it wasn't so straight forward. First, the light shouldn't be only faulty when she went out, she has no problem with the lights whenever she is in her room. Secondly, there is no reason why the staff came into her room. My concrete reasons: she didn't call to report any fault or whatsoever. The second time when this phenomena happened, it was on a saturday evening. There was no management staff around except security guard and maintenance staffs. Even if a staff came into her room, I could have heard something like knocking. (I am staying right next to her and I was around the whole day.)

Maybe the staff did not knock? Come on, don't be ridiculous! It is intruding for staff to enter into our private premises like that! What if I am in the toilet and come out naked to see a staff in my room!! They surely knock. This was what the staff did EVERYTIME in the hall I stayed last term. And if they came into our room when we were absence, they would leave a note on the table.

Since we are living on the first level (in SGP, it is regarded as the 2nd level), it takes less than 2 minutes to enter the building and into our flat. The staff can't be leaving at such a good timing isn't it? Besides, Ning didn't bump into anyone as she was on the way.

Ning was absolutely sure about
1. none of her stuffs were touched or stolen
2. she locks her room everytime she leaves
3.she switches off the lights when she goes out
4.her eyes were not playing tricks particularly on the 2nd time

"There was no mistake! I was returning with a friend on saturday evening and I was standing right below my room! It was lit! And since it was already dark, I could tell the obvious difference between whether it was lit or not!"

So Who has turned on and off her lights? I can't find a scientific explanation either and I shivered when she told me this. Gosh, I am staying right beside her!! The worst thing was, I have been watching series about haunted UK :X for the past few nights!! OMG!!

Like Ning, I have the habit of looking into my room as I walked into the building. So far (finger-crossed), I have never witnessed any strange encounter. I guessed I better stop doing that now...

I still remembered when I experienced such incidents, my dad would brush me off and he is a firm believer that ghost doesn't exist. I am not sure if he really is, maybe he doesn't want to frighten me. For my mum, she would advise me to place my prayer beads and book beside my bed. And I felt so much better. I gave Ning my extra beads so that she can put it in her room too.

Do you guys still remembered my experience around last Christmas?? It was an unexplained phenomenon too.... Click on my archives to read about it!

I better sleep with the lights on...
