Mood:Good Health:Good Weather:Chilly
Jane called me today. She was backed from her Europe trip and she wanted to give me a dinner (to show her appreciation)before she flies home in a few days time! If you don't remember Jane, she was the girl whom I helped in her dissertation.
She was very sincere and insisted on buying me dinner even when I repeated turned down her. In the end, she brought me to a Japanese restaurant 'Tenkaichi Sushi & Noodle Bar' at City Road.
Jane & me She ordered salad for the side and guess what Sam had? Hmm... such a chilly day, a hot and spicy soup would be GREAT!
So I ordered 'Spicy Beef Ramen'!
YUM YUM!! WOW a BIG bowl of noodles!!
Before we left the restaurant, we had another picture taken. Sighs, the waitress was a bad photographer. She seemed to focus on the wall more than our faces. Maybe she left a chunk of wall for me to scribble! Hahaha...
I felt so embarrassed about Jane giving me a treat. Plus, she gave me her rice cooker and some stationery.
She spotted me using pot to cook rice the last time and she wanted me to have her rice cooker. It was meant to be easier for me though I am already an expert in cooking rice with a pot. So touched... Yeah! Now, I can make good porridge without watching over it!
