Mood:Sigh Health:Good Weather:Good
Shortly after Ling played a good host to me, I "was called" to be another one... this time to 'u know who'...
She asked me out on Sunday. Then during the conversation...
"Are you going to be at home tonight?"
"Yes."
"Could I stay with you tonight?"
"I thought you are staying in the guest house now?"
"There is some construction work near the guest house and it is very noisy and I can't sleep."
"Goodness! They are so ridiculous to do work at that kind of hours!"
"They start around 8am then end at 10pm." (innocently)
Ok, I was puzzled... I don't see any issue about disturbing sleep since there was peace from 10pm - 8am. Besides, school hasn't start yet, I supposed she could adjust her sleeping hours accordingly. Anyway, I kept quiet.
"I also need to use the internet to check important mails. I don't have internet in my guest house."
So she went back to pack her necessities and came to my place shortly. Besides clothes, toothbrush and some lotions, she brought nothing... which "amazed" me.
Shower:
I have to lend her my T-shirt as a towel as I didn't have spare. After showering, she shouted in the toilet,
"Can I use your towel to dry my hair?"
Can't believe it! Hello Sister, towel is a personal item, cannot share!
"No! It is personal, I don't share with anyone."
"Ok..."
Later...
She wanted to wash her underwear and dry it at my place.
Sighs... Sister! Why couldn't you bring home the next day to do it? It is just for a night!
Sleeping:
I don't understand why a person who has paid for a room in a guest house (inclusive of English breakfast), has her own bed but decided to squeeze a single sized bed with me?
She was fidgeting and scratching vigorously throughout the sleep. I couldn't sleep at all because of the movements. At a point, it was too annoying and I said,
"Are you having problems with itchy skin?" (with concern too)
"Hmm... no...no... just that there is no blanket covering some parts of the body."
-_-''' So lame! I can't believe her. She was scratching all over! Is she saying that she has no blanket at all! Anyway, I was concerned with all the scratchings. I hope she doesn't have head lice or some contagious skin diseases. There was a slight stench in her clothes too, I wondered if they were clean... I better soak myself in Dettol later...
I didn't rest well last night. Not only her fidgeting and scratching disturbed me, but I had terrible cramps that lasted from the night before to this morning. I wished I have the whole bed to myself to lessen the cramps than confining to a small area. She was enjoying her sleep so much that she forgot that I was sharing the bed too. Many times, I was on the verge of falling over.
Since, I couldn't sleep well. I decided to wake up early and write this post. Sigh... I hate the feeling that I got to wash my bedsheets again after they were used for just a few days.
Sister, if you think it is fun to stay over. I tell you, it is not for me!
You all must be feeling sympathy for me... Poor Sam!
Someone told me "Do us a favour. Post her picture in your blog."
So...
