Last Din with Simon

Mood:Good Health:Good Weather:Great

Simon and I had our "last dinner" together before he leaves. He is going to defer his studies for a year which means I won't be seeing him at all in school. However, I might still see him some time if he comes back to Cardiff for 'holidays'.

Being able to study in UK, is an eye- opening for me - the filthy riches. When Simon shared with me about his family background, he reminded me of 'Dao Ming Si' from 'Meteor Garden'. That how the infamous Taiwanese series came into my real life. He is ridiculously rich!

There is no way I could differentiate him from the character - the games that only the riches could play, the extravagant lifestyle, the nasty pranks and whatever you could associate with from the series except that he has no sense of arrogant, better tempered, less violent, less stubborn...

We planned to have a dinner outside but I thought a home cooked food would be better since he had takeaways for the past two weeks. I was glad that my simple dishes weren't too cheap for him and turned his appetite off.
I swiped out 'vegetables in oyster sauce', 'curry chicken' and 'sweet n sour pork'. And he was in charge of drinks and desserts.

The whole evening, he brought me into further insights of his life. It was a bit of envious yet not at times. I appreciated the fact that he shared so truthfully.

CHEERS! All the best to him and his future! Who knows, one day we may work together!
