London Trip Day 3

Mood:Good Health:Coughing Weather:Cool

Our third day in London was London Tower. This tower used to be a royal palace, a fortress, a prison, the official mint and even a menagerie.
Many traitors and victims of political feuds have been imprisoned here, and three queens lost their heads on Tower Green. Hmm... wonder if they are any unrest souls here...

Never missed this famous donut in London!

Next stop is the British MuseumThe first section we went to was of course the mysterious Ancient Egyptian... The ancient writing on the tomb stone The Shrine for a King and Queen What a lovely couple! The Great Sphinx The Rosetta Stone More mummies coming up:

The mummy foot of a child
This is the best display! A 'dried corpse' of ancient woman!
Even pets were mummy!
Kelly and I shared a hotdog bun which costed GBP$2.50 outside the museum. The fragrance of the fried onions was irresistible. I loved onions! As usual, the sausage was very good!

Then we walked to convent garden for dinner! It was our last dinner in London so we have to make it good!
Hmm... seemed a good place for dinner!
Cheap and seemed good!
Soon, we were inside the cosy cafe! The service was excellent!
I had the moules soup...
It was mussels in onions and white wine. Gosh it was very good!
Then I had grilled salmon for my main!
After a short walk in Convent Garden street, we headed to our hostel from the tube station.
We walked down a long flight of spiral stairs to the tube. I kept asking Kelly "are we reaching yet?" The spiral staircase made me giddy! Then we found out something once we reached the bottom...
Damn it! We were fools!
