London Trip Day 1

Mood:OK Health:Coughing Weather:Grey

Kelly and I visited some London attractions today. Our first venue was the Tower Bridge.

The Tower Bridge was opened in 1894, was designed in the Gothic style to blend with the nearby London Tower. Isn't it cool?
On the way to London Eye, we stopped by to have some BBQ sausages - a treat from Kelly! It was delicious! UK has good sausages!Yum Yum!
And we passed by this interesting place where people relaxed in the giant greenish furniture!
Beautiful landmarks along River Thames
After a long walk from the Tower Bridge, we reached our destination- London Eye. The ride to get a bird view of London is GBP$22. That was so expensive!
The Big Ben and the Westminster Abbey nearby
We walked even further to the Whitehall and Trafalgar Square. The lion statue reminded me of something - home (Singapore, the lion city)
Riot
We were amused by a riot along the way. Can't blame us as this is very rare in Singapore. We are just too good citizen.
Halfway down the Whitehall was two Horse Guards at the entrance of the Buckingham Palace. I took a picture with one of them.
Hey Handsome! Got a girlfriend?
I can't imagine that we walked so far until Chinatown. My legs were so tired.
Tired and hungry, we went hunting on budget dinner. Most of the restaurants were so expensive. But we found the cheapest Buffet in 'Mr Wu chinese Restaurant' at less than GBP$5 per person!
The black bean beef and the vegetables were nice. The rest was not that fantastic but what can you expect from a low cost dinner?
What a tiring day! Going to have good rest for Day 2!
