It just drive me nuts that I think I want to write something about it...
Despite this is a all-in-one printer which proves very useful for me, but I am disappointed in terms of its technical aspects. I expect this new model would perform better compared to my grandfather's printer but I am totally wrong.
First, it is very noisy. Then the ink uses up real fast. I don't remember my old HP printer uses ink that much... I printed hundreds of pages for my final year reports and it still goes on. Here, the death calls upon them after less than 100 pages printed.
The copier is terrible. After some time of copying, it ends up having a big white patch in the middle of the page. Then it looks fine if you choose to scan the same page instead then print it out.
The scanner quality sucks. The wordings are patchy and there are some white patches despite that the documents are lying flat on the glass.
The morale of the story is never buy a low- end product with more features. Well... that the price I paid... I miss my grandfather printer.
(FYI, I used the correct paper types and correct settings. The scanner glass has nothing on it to affect the image.)
